It’s been a big week in Hang Five this week. Huge, in fact! Thousands of people played yesterday. So we want to say a big thank you to every single one of you that plays Hang Five - those of you who’ve played every day since August, those who pop in every now and then, and an extra warm welcome to those that have joined us recently. Hope you find it enjoyable enough to stick around.
And an extra thank you to everyone who has shared Hang Five with their friends. And followers and subscribers and listeners.
Every now and then we’ll send out a newsletter like this. So, if you want to stay in the loop, please subscribe.
So, how did most of you end up here? Here’s what happened…
A while back, one of our friends (who has been here since day 1) shared Hang Five with a group of friends. One of them subscribed to Shit You Should Care About and thought that Hang Five was shit we should care about. Turns out that Luce (who writes that newsletter) agreed. She’s been playing it with her family for a while now and decided to share it with her Close Friends on Instagram.
Our friend shared that Insta story with us. We love hearing about new people playing Hang Five, and are very grateful when you spend a few minutes of your day playing, so sent an email thanking Luce for playing and for sharing. And said if she ever wanted to suggest a theme, she could.
Well, turns out she had the best theme ready-made. Five words, all 7 letters or less. (Fun fact, it’s 7 because 8 was going to make the boxes too small!) And, if you know her at all, it’s obvious why she chose it!
So we put that in for Thursday, and it went out on the SYSCA newsletter and Instagram that morning and now there’s a bunch of new people who have discovered the Hang Five fun!
Some of the people who discovered it are Steph and John at Play 103 in Fort McMurray, Alberta, Canada!
Thank you so much for sharing!
Have a great day wherever you are in the world!
